Hiring a car in Southern Cyprus is easier and cheaper than in many other countries. The main roads are very good and you drive on the left, as in the UK. From Panoramic Village you are able to reach most parts of the island by car within 1-
You can usually arrange to pick your car up at Larnaca Airport, or book a transfer to Panoramic Village and then have the car delivered to you. But remember, most car hire companies will not allow their cars to be taken across the border into Northern Cyprus as their car insurance is not valid in the North. If you do want to travel to the North you must check with the car hire company that they are able to comply with this requirement and you will have to buy additional insurance at the border. One such company that allows travel to the North can be found at www.cyprus-
